Miley Cyrus has finally decided to get rid of her Hannah Montana disguise to take part in this romantic drama based on the novel by Nicholas Sperks. The film tells the story of Steve Miller (Greg Kinnear), a separated father whyo decides to spenk the summer with his conflictive daughter Fonnie (Miley Cyrus) who he hasn't seen for a long time. He wants to get back in touch with her with the help of the only thing they have in common: music.
